hey uh, actually. some real talk here. have a lot to upload but i consider holding off on a lot of it for fewer uploads for a while. for some reason youtube has been neglecting to direct anybody to my channel. I have a possible idea as to why, although it doesn't make consistent sense as it would had to have taken a while to truly take effect then, but whatever. But in general I had a period of surprisingly nice growth(atleast for me and what i'm used to) for a while, and then it dropped more and more and... now it's lower than it has been in years despite me uploading more things more often than ever before. even the interesting things that normally should increase traffic have almost nothing on them. if this is about that one flagging from one of my friends saying offensive jokes many months ago then i am going to be even more upset at him than i already was for his sense of humor. that video was flagged and got my channel striked before it ever even reached public status, and i didn't know deleting it would make the strike permanent and impossible to appeal.
this is a really dumb system, isn't it? why can i delete it if that makes my life hell to do so? i'm surprised deleting the one video that was never even public doesn't get rid of the strike to begin with...
is my channel doomed to have it's views cut down from what it could have been? forever?
youtube, i've been on your platform for forever. while this is just a hobby i never monetized and never intend to monetize, i still struggle to believe this situation is even a possibility.
