2024 F1 BRAZILIAN GP Sprint qualifying by Peter Windsor
It's a McLaren-Mercedes front row for the Brazilian sprint race, with Oscar Piastri edging-out Lando Norris by 0.029sec around the undulating Interlagos circuit. Ferrari start P3/P5, sandwiching the Red Bull-Honda of Max Verstappen, who has a five-place grid penalty for the full Grand Prix on Sunday. George Russell qualified P6 but his team-mate, Sir Lewis Hamilton, in another bad day for the factory Mercedes team, did not make it out of Q2.
