2024 GMC Acadia Bigger than ever First Look
1The new 2024 GMC Acadia is larger than its predecessor, with its wheelbase and overall length increased by 8.4 inches and 10.6 inches, respectively. The Acadia's growth spurt translates into a more spacious interior, which is enhanced by a new design that includes a standard vertical 15.0-inch touchscreen. Every model now has a 328-horsepower turbocharged 2.5-liter four-cylinder engine, and both front and it has a curb weight of 5,000 pounds with all-wheel drive. The third-generation 2024 GMC Acadia is an even larger three-row midsize SUV. Not only is it longer, taller and wider than its predecessor, but the new Acadia has a boxier exterior that makes it look more truck-like — a trend echoed by new rivals as well as its corporate cousin, the recently redesigned Chevy Traverse. The new Acadia's interior materials don't really look or feel luxurious, even on the luxury Denali model, but the place is more refined than before. There's more storage space in the center console and more space under the console thanks to the awkward shift buttons being moved to the column-mounted shifter.....
