The Nissan GT-R, known for its ability to harass supercars, has undergone a refresh for the Japanese market. The updated version, referred to as a "refresh" of the R35 model, features a new front grille and lower bumper design, as well as different fog lights. The rear also gets a new bumper design, and there are now eight models to choose from, including the return of the T-spec. All models still have the 3.8-liter twin-turbo VR38DETT engine, producing 562 horsepower for the regular GT-Rs and 592 horsepower for the Nismo models. The gearbox and 4WD setup remain unchanged, as well as its impressive acceleration and performance.

Nissan has announced updates to its GT-R sports car, including improved aerodynamics, a more refined ride quality, and reduced noise and vibration levels for better occupant comfort. The GT-R Premium T-Spec edition will come with specially set suspension and carbon brakes, while the Nismo model will feature a mechanical limited slip diff on the front final drive, better aerodynamics, and suspension tuning for improved performance. The Nismo edition will also come with black Recaro bucket seats and weight-balanced engine parts, as well as a clear-coated carbon bonnet with NACA ducts for maximum performance. According to Nissan COO Ashwani Gupta, the new models are the pinnacle of the GT-R R35 and will go on sale in Japan later this summer. There is no word yet on whether the car will return to European shores.
