20XX (Complete) - Run #8 (Normal Mode) As Ace
1920XX is a steam game highly influenced by Megaman and is kind of roguelike? (This term is still new to me.) How the game works is you fight through eight randomly generated levels which each have a boss at the end of them. While playing the levels you'll find many different upgrades which make you stronger as you go along. However once you die it is permanent. There are currently two playable characters which are Nina and Ace. Nina is the Megaman of the game while Ace is Zero. It is a really fun game which I recommend checking out if you like Megaman. Also as of now this game is currently out of Beta and is officially a completed. Kudos to the creators for actually pulling through!
Info: Well, I beat the game as Nina, so it's only fair I give Ace a run this time. While Ace destroys the bosses faster than Nina, he generally has a bit more trouble with the levels due to his weapons not having much range which made me worry about taking on the final levels. Luckily I managed to come across the spear weapon which is his longest ranged weapon, so that gave me a bit of an easier time. I was hoping to get the full set of armor that enhances your power weapons but unfortunately I didn't come across them...Thankfully we at least had the fire ring power to prevent a lot of potential damage. The next runs is when I'll start to add in my modifiers to make this interesting.
