7A showcase of the 2017 title 20XX, which is a loving homage to the Mega Man franchise. That captures the spirit and gameplay of the franchise very closely. You can play as either Nina or Ace and it's your job to fight off a hoard of robots on the rampage. Unlike the Mega Man titles 20XX supports two players and is a roguelike game meaning that the level and boss order change each time you play.
Along the way you can collect a vast selections of power ups and upgrades, some for that run other are permanent and remain with you even if you fail. Upgrades range from health increases to statistic upgrades, armour changes with new abilities and of course boss weapons. Each stage is littered with then and many can be found in side mission rooms. There's also a bonus for finishing mission quickly. So how you want to take on each stage is totally up to you.
Finally the graphics and music also do their best to keep the homage to Mega Man going. While Randomised Gaming isn't a huge fan of randomised stages, as they can be very bland at times the end result is an enjoy title that injects new ideas into the tried and trusted formula of Mega Man. The PC version also has two DLC characters Hawk and Draco and all four characters play different to each other, changing how you play the game.
