332I have a soft spot for zombie flicks that add a realistic touch with a super-tense ambiance, and even though 28 Years Later is not a zombie movie in the strictest sense of the term, it still fits the bill perfectly. When Danny Boyle first came up with 28 Days Later starring Cillian Murphy, it was something very different from the usual horror drama stereotypes, and now that he is back with the franchise, there are some interesting changes in the narrative. The post-apocalyptic setup is still haunting as ever, and this much-awaited movie has probably set up what can be one of the finest horror franchises in recent times.
