2nd Battle of Pearson's Ridge Farm
2Fun little personal North and South II mod mini-campaign I am playing through custom battles.
Battle of Pearson's Ridge Farm. Moses's Brigade recently lost their commanding General in a light skirmish with rebel forces. Colonel Brian Moses stepped up in command for the Brigade and the attached artillery battery and regiments of skirmishers.
At Pearson's Ridge Farm, newly appointed General Brian Moses runs into a Confederate Brigade with their own support being lead by General Thomas Hastings of the Cot Dammed Rebz. Moses makes a stand as his first field promotion against Hasting's Brigade with a devastating route of the Confederate forces.
As the sun set and the Confederates dug in, CSA reinforcements arrived under General Donald Johnson meanwhile General Adam Moses and his volunteer brigades move up to reinforce Gen. Brian Moses's forces. After a light rest, The brothers move out and advance upon the Confederate position, hoping to dislodge the enemy and route them from the area with Hasting's brigades are battered pretty badly.
During the battle, General Adam Moses and Brian Moses both took light wounds that took them out of the fight at the end. However, the assault was a success which gave them both time to recover before advancing further towards Confederate lines as the far right flank of the fighting Union forces.
