Look out behind you! And in front of you! And above you! An- Y'know, it's best just to keep outta the spotlight, 'k?
The music on this level is totally chill, man. Also, there's a part here with a bunch'a ships shooting beam shots at you, and the room for error to traverse to the safe spot is very small! It doesn't help that your ship has trouble skipping multiple lanes in a timely manner, either!

This game's a little different! It's a reverse-rhythm-space shooter! Yeah! See, you're in a space war of sorts being waged by Rick because he just wants to complete his commute or something and get his coffee but these aliens, the uh... Ehnorians, get in his way with wanting to destroy the universe or whatever!
Anyway during the final boss fight, Rick got sucked into a crazy time vortex thing that is reversing time and he has to "undo" all his actions just as he executed them otherwise the timestream will be ruined and the Ehnorians will win! (Nooo~!)
What this essentially comes down to is: Time your shots to the crazy cool electronic beats, yo.
If you mess up a bit too much you can always reverse reverse-time to go forward in time a bit to undo what you failed to undo so that you can undo it properly, y'dig? It's neat stuff.
Random Game Mechanic Coverage:

Press da button when shot circles cross your ship from the front. This will properly undo your shot! The timing is VERY generous on these, but you'll score less if you don't get it right. You'll see enemy shots approaching you from behind; get out of their way, yo!
Some shots will have extra glowy properties to them. These are power-ups! Pick'm up and they'll tell you what they do! Let me tell you what they do: For one: The Overthruster: This one is activated separately and will make your ship extra comboey with the combos for a limited time. Neat!
Combo multipliers are increased if you don't fail to undo anything in a long streak. It reverts back to normal if you mess up or get hit or use your reverse thrusters.
Reverse Thrusters: These reverse time to send you forward in time to undo what y- IT REVERSES YOUR GAMEPLAY FOR AS LONG AS YOU HOLD IT. Use this to "heal" if you got hit/messed up too many shots and have another go at it! You have a limited amount of "fuel" to activate this power as depicted on your ship's bar graph.
There are probably other things I'm failing to mention. You can probably figure it out by watching the video! Also, this isn't a "perfect run". It's a "I didn't die" run!
