Warlock is a film from the late 90's that touched on a sub-genre that's rarely visited in horror films: Warlocks. So much so, that when Julian Sands, the star of the film received the script, he thought it was just going to be another typical slasher film, so he didn't even read it for quite some time. However, once he did, he was very enthusiastic about the project.
Unfortunately, as a horror fan, you can't help but feel especially cheated, since not only are Warlock films a rarity in the genre but the one we did get suffered from some major censorship, leaving some of the material on the cutting room floor.
