27If there's a complaint I have so far about the run, it's only that the docks in Corvus aren't offering more Wolf-class frigates. If you get three or four of those in a group and give them decent crews, there's little short of capital ships that can really stop you. As it is, the Frigate Wolfpack tactic isn't really viable.
Instead, we'll skip straight to the next phase of operations; get a carrier, get some fighters, and start taking on some heavier threats and acting as a group leader. Once we're able to do that, we can also begin to venture to neighboring star systems, and see if more Wolves are for sale there. We can only hope.
Part of our success so far is that I'm getting better at handling my flagship and the combat mechanics, but it's also because the Wolf is seriously so damn good.
If we were to ever lose it, we'd be just kinda fucked, trust me, I've been there.
