IN the first scene of the trailer we see an explosion that happened in a yet unknown location, and there was no titan or monster anywhere to be seen. The explosion seemed unnatural in a way, when you closely examine it in slow motion. There were a series of explosions in fact and they don’t seem to have the lingering fire that is usually seen in explosives which only means that this was from a strange energy source that would be seen in the movie. Then we get to the scene where people are fleeing and running underground hiding from something. And it is here that we get our first look into Mechagodzilla, yes, it is 100% confirmed now that this arch enemy of Godzilla will be causing havoc in the movie. Around 1 minute and 42 seconds into the trailer, we can see the son of serizawa standing in front of a screen that showed specs and stats of Mechagodzilla. IN the screen we can see written on it the batter system and also minimum charge which means that yes, this mecha will be having red coloured nuclear batteries as a power source. Mechagodzilla will have a very segmented body with various modular parts and the most visible feature are the four toed feet. acoustic signature down on the screen meaning it will be able to sound out alpha calls if needed.

the last of the new creatures featured in this trailer and these are the small bat like flying creatures that fly in groups around Kong in the under world slash hollow earth. At first glance I thought they were mini muto males but when we slow down the video and go frame by frame, we can actually see that they have a reptilian slash avian owl like face with a sharp raptor like beak. They also have bat like wings which are very large coparing to their body size and log legs with very sharp talons at the end. They seem to swarm around Kong when he was standing in a place that kinda looks like a glowing dead body of a Godzilla. The strangest feature of these creatures is their dorsal plates which appear at their back and seem to resemble the ones on Godzilla’s back somehow.
