Mechagodzilla kills Titanus Behemoth in Godzilla vs Kong | Theory
In Godzilla: King of the Monsters, Behemoth is contained and monitored in Monarch Outpost 58, in a cavern in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. Designated "Titanus Behemoth", also known to the locals as the Mapinguary, his file is briefly examined by Mark Russell. Later, Behemoth is awakened by the call of his new alpha, Ghidorah, and he, along with the other Titans (excluding Godzilla, Mothra, and Kong), is sent to hunt, moving as a pack with his new allies. Behemoth himself rams into buildings in Rio de Janeiro, demolishing them with his tusks. Soon, Madison Russell activates the ORCA in Boston, and Behemoth is one of the only few Titans that are able to make the journey. IN the end he is seen bowing to Godzilla as their new alpha.
The Godzilla vs. Kong toys tease the return of the Skullcrawler, alongside a new Titan warbat and another old one that is Behemoth. We were expecting at least one of the titans from the previous three movies to make a return and we were not disappointed with the leaks. Of course the MUTO’s were awesome but they have been seen in the first 2014 movie, in Godzilla aftershock and also in King of the Monsters so, making them appear again in this movie would just neglect and leave out the other awesome ones behind. And out of Methuselah, Scylla and Behemoth, only the last one the behemoth would actually make for an interesting side story that would connect to the main arch of the battle between the Godzilla and Kong.
So, who will he side with? Will Behemoth side with Kong as they are both Mammalian titans? Or would he choose to side with Godzilla allowing for an interesting betrayal of the species, since he already bowed down to the gman in the last film. Michael Dougherty explained that Behemoth was supposed to actually have an interesting and cute backstory, He imagined that Behemoth was capable of going bipedal when necessary, allowing him to take a swipe at an opponent with his humongous claws. While Normally, he’s a peaceful herbivore grazing on giant prehistoric trees with his herd, He was supposed to have massive cuffs and broken chains around his limbs to hint that he was once captured and used as a warbeast by some ancient society. The cute part of the story is that He also likes belly rubs and getting groomed by Kong.
But obviously that would not happen since Behemoth was already a very ancient titan and Kong is a young and growing titan. So therefore the back story had to change. Anyway, IN the upcoming video, there are a couple of theories I would like to put out for what would happen to Behemoth and what his role is in the movie. Of course it would be a small one but one that could alter the course of actions leading to a battle between Kong and Godzilla. The first theory is that Behemoth would be seen travelling and reaching Skull island but due to the place becoming unstable, he would meet his end along with the other titans that reach the place. IT is of course confirmed that they are all travelling there due to mysterious circumstances, and was seen in the end scredits scene.
The next theory is one that would be more interesting that the first one and this one involves the Apex Organization and Mechagodzilla. So the story goes like this, Behemoth as was seen in the end credits of KOTM was back in the amazon reviving the forests over there. Apex activates mecha godzill and they engage in a fight that end up with Behemoth dying, Godzilla senses all of this, the dying behemoth and the biosignature of Ghidorah’s brain waves inside this new mechanized titan and that is why the gman is on a hunt, destroying facilities and military installations, searching for mechagodzilla and in this search, he meets Kong and battles the giant ape as well seeing him as another potential threat not just to him but the other titans as well. Of course in the end Mechagodzilla appears and they team up and destroy the mecha and bla bla bla, they go on their own separate ways.
