**Neo Cab**
This tells the story of Lina and her mission to find her missing friend. As you navigate the city you decide which people you’ll pick up and which dialogue to say to them. Be careful though, saying the wrong thing has consequences. Keep your star rating up, keep your mood high and maybe sleep soundly at night, you may even edge closer to the truth of what’s happened to your missing companion.
Neo Cab features a fantastic set of colorful characters you’ll be taking for a ride, getting to know and finding out their secrets. It’s a really great take on the narrative based adventure genre with plenty of choices in your hands, perfectly designed to be replayed. It has a distinctive art style and brilliant lo-fi cyberpunk soundtrack from Obfusc that fits the atmosphere exceptionally well.
**Eternal Radiance**
This follows Celeste on her journey to prove her worth as a knight, traveling far from home and across the continent in the process. Mixing action RPG with visual novel, this is one about the characters. While trying to retrieve a lost artifact, you’ll be takin part side quests and optional activities which will allow you to further explore the world and the people within. Dig deeper into the lore, help the people you meet, and join your party members as they resolve their personal struggles.
Fun action combat, with a meaningful skill tree, gear upgrades and skill boosts, there’s a lot to like about Eternal Radiance. There’s some really gorgeous well executed cutscenes that visual novel fans will also enjoy to really get to know the characters and enjoy the banter between them, it’s the best of both worlds.
This was reviewed very positively over on Steam and is coming to the Nintendo Switch very soon, which, of course 1Print Games are doing a physical release for which is set for Q3 this year.
**Paradise Killer**
This is a critically acclaimed detective game. Set on the eponymous island, this pseudo-futuristic setting provides the perfect backdrop for an engrossing adventure. With multiple suspects in your lines of enquiry, it’s your job to find where to lay the blame and build an airtight case against them.
Here, everyone on Paradise has a secret to hide and something to gain. And the fact you can go where you want and speak to whomever you want, whenever you want adds to the feeling of being a proper detective. This is going to be sent out by 1Print Games in Q3, which we’re in the middle of Q2 right now - so not long to go.
