The announcement of Fallout 76 (whatever it is) has got me thinking about the Fallout series, what I'm hoping for in Fallout 76 and why I keep coming back to Fallout 4 despite its many flaws.

In retrospect, Fallout 4 may not have lived up to our expectations (nonexistent dialogue options, watered down RPG etc.), but it is a unique gaming experience and that counts for something.
