3 Reasons Kylo Ren is More Frightening Than Darth Vader
0Do you think that Kylo Ren is more frightening than Darth Vader?
Kylo Ren isn't just the grandson of Darth Vader (who is really Anakin Skywalker) - he's one of Star Wars Episode VII / The Force Awakens antagonists. Some Star Wars fans claim that he's exactly like Darth Vader, but he's quite the opposite. Whereas Vader was cool and collected, mature and direct - Kylo Ren is petulant, prone to uncontrolled emotional outbursts, and a living example of an arrogant youth who does not yet know who he is. Kylo Ren, as a Star Wars character, is not fully fleshed out - and that's what makes him more frightening than Darth Vader to me. As much as I have an appreciation for Darth Vader (my focus character for collecting at the moment), between him and Kylo Ren, only Kylo (Ben Solo) Ren has prompted anger from me. Yes, the moment Kylo says "thank you" as Han Solo is killed at his hand is the moment I begin to hate his character (more than I ever hated the character of Darth Vader). This hatred is the expected response to a true movie story villain.
