3 Technologies I'm Excited to See or Use
0While smartphones and tablets and computers are commonplace, there are technologies that actually do excite me (for their potential to change the world). I don't really like cars; they're expensive, cumbersome, and dangerous. Sign me up for a self-driving vehicle so that we can eliminate the future possibility of untimely deaths due to poor drivers and poor driving conditions. I hate driving. I also hate wires and cables, so sign me up for wireless electricity - which will be much like WiFi is today (though hopefully more stable and a hell of a lot more secure). This is potentially transformative technology, if only to eliminate clutter from our lives once it reaches a practical point (I'm not talking about gimmicky "wireless" chargers which still require cables). The last bit of #tech I've been hearing about for decades has yet to be seen in my life: no more needles. I hate needles. Can't #tech kill needles already?
