I am a nostalgia freak, a child of the '80s. One of the most fascinating pieces of #tech I loved was our family calculator! I lusted after tape recorders, which were about $30, which was a huge expense for a kid with a small allowance! Technology was not everywhere as a kid, we didn't have our own items, but I did have a Texas Instruments Speak & Math. My brothers had a Speak & Read and Speak & Spell. These were awesome technologies that are easily replaceable by an app or emulator now! Over time, I received a Polaroid camera, an Atari 2600, and I also loved playing with typewriters - we had an electronic typewriter and also a video camera, eventually. I wouldn't want the actual devices, I admire them for nostalgia sake, but wouldn't want them collecting dust. What did #tech did you love as a kid?
