3 Ways That the Internet is Different From Television
0I watch TV, but not as frequently as I watch the Internet - shows on the Internet are just as good as the shows on TV (and, in many ways, shows that you play over the Internet are better than those you see on TV because of stream quality vs the quality of a television broadcast signal). I grew up with only a small amount of TV channels from which to choose, but the Internet has a near-infinite amount of TV channels and shows to watch. The TV won't disappear as a device, but I do believe that our idea of television has already evolved (and the TV industry now needs to catch up to the way we experience content by way of the Internet - possibly even through our physical TV set). Plus, the best part of Internet TV is that it's almost more instant than any on-demand TV service out there today. Time-shifted content is the name of the game.
