The incredible work which Denzel Curry did in blending a ton of diverse influences and musical tones into a consistent and well-constructed concept album on 32 Zel / Planet Shrooms has been overshadowed by the memetic success of Ultimate, and the total blossoming of Denzel's career after his XXL Freshman appearance and the release of Imperial and TA1300. I, for one, will stand by the opinion that Denzel Curry has always been great, and that this was arguably his best album because while his newer ones have shown an increase in certain skills, they haven't pushed things conceptually as far as this again.
