In this series of short videos, I'll demonstrate my Root Automatic Transfer Switch and its operation in detail. This Automatic Transfer Switch with Contactor consists of just five devices: 1 HCW-M631 Battery Charge Control Module, 1 TOMZN TOCT1-63 Contactor, 1 TOMZN TOMPD-63S Protection Timer Relay, and two 16-amp AC Circuit Breakers. It's an extremely reliable and durable Root Automatic Transfer System that monitors my battery bank and the maximum current of the loads. According to the programming I set, this automatic transfer switch switches between utility power and solar energy, completely reliably.
