For this week's 3D printing showcase, we test print some of the beautiful tabletop terrain pieces from Weta Workshop sculptor Johnny Fraser-Allen's Hagglethorn Hollow! These miniature buildings are directly sourced from Johnny's gorgeous sculpts, scanned and optimized for filament printing. We print both FDM and resin samples from this modular set, and talk about how to print directly on the build plate and avoid artifacts like the dreaded elephant's foot.
