When youtubers, or others, show VR gameplay, they show a flat 2D 1 eye video capture ... which does not convey the 3D immersive aspect of VR very well.

A proper 3D video would be better, although you need to view it from within a headset. This is no problem because the intended audience probably owns a VR headset already.

Now, my video capture shows that you can actually capture a 3D video on a Quest 3 using QGO ... And put it on YouTube.

Played on PC. Streamed to Quest 3 using Virtual Desktop. Recorded on Quest 3 using QuestGameOptimiser which unlocks hires 3D SBS video capture (3840x3840) ... the resulting captured video repacked for use on YouTube with ffmpeg following advice from https://support.google.com/youtube/answer/7278886

I renamed the captured video to aircar_3d_quest.mp4 ... then repacked for youtube with cmd: ffmpeg -i aircar_3d_quest.mp4 -filter:v unsharp=3:3:3 -filter:v crop=3840:2160:0:840 -aspect 16:9 -metadata:s:v:0 stereo_mode=1 aircar_3d_yt_16x9_4k_enc_unsharp.mkv
