Beginning gameplay from the original NES version of Contra using the 3dSen emulator, which translates NES roms into 3d voxel games. There are specific layouts created for each game, so not all of them are currently available, but many of the most popular games are, and there are a lot more as well.

The effect is cool, but it's not refined enough to feel like more than just a novelty, but it's one cool ass novelty.

You can check it out on either Itch.io or Steam (just search for 3dsen). I decided to buy my copy on Itch so its DRM free. I have a feeling Nintendo will get Steam to remove it from their store.
