3D vs FoP (WCG 2002)
63American powerhouse Team 3D loses against the Hungarian clan Face of Power in this upset at the World Cyber Games in 2002. After 3D won "only" nine rounds as CTs on prodigy, FoP won ten rounds on their CT side to win 13-11 overall. This was the first game for both teams and it was 3D's only loss as they finished first in their group while FoP didn't survive the group stage. However, this must have been some sort of wake up call for 3D at the time. They ended up placing 7th-8th and took home 2000 dollars while FoP finished 25th-31st. Prodigy disappeared from the map pool of most international events around this time. Other oldschool maps like aztec and cbble lasted way longer, and rightly so?
