In 1998, 3Dfx partnered with a company called Newfire to create a sort of "virtual city website" called 3DFx City. This is a VRML-based web browser plugin called Torch.

The only hardware/software I managed to get this running on is legitimate old school stuff. Windows 98SE, IE5, Pentium 3, Voodoo2, 440BX. It wouldn't work on Voodoo3/5. I recorded it by way of a VGA capture card.
