3DS Virtual Console - The Legend of Zelda : Oracle of Ages (Intro-First Dungeon's Entrance)
Just the first 26 minutes, plus this is basically another quality test (I want to do one for Metroid Fusion on this thing as well).
This and Oracle of Seasons is FINALLY out on the stateside and I will say this...I like this game (and seasons), I don't like the 5th dungeon because the song is....odd. Other than that I like this game (and oracle of seasons) a lot.
0:24 - Intro
1:41 - File select
2:07 - Teleportation
2:33 - "Saving" Impa, who is now a giant muscular lady this time.
3:58 - And here we see. Nayru, the Oracle, not the goddess because that would've been way too easy.
5:23 - Plot Plot Plot Plot Plot Plot
9:57 - And we get the Wooden Sword....surely this is the sign that we are indeed a hero.......
nope....
11:14 - Mini Dungeon : Maku Cave (Present)
11:51 - The Maku Tree...
12:38 - ....which does not even a minute later
13:02 - WE'RE TAKING THIS PORTAL AT 88 MILES PER HOUR
14:10 - The Black Tower (if you play oracle of season first and then use the password to link to ages, you'll be able to enter this place in the present after the 4th dungeon).
15:51 - HELL YEAH! SHOVEL POWER!
17:17 - Mini Dungeon : Maku Road (Past)
19:12 - And we see the Maku Tree as a mere sprout...kirby-kitty looking thing.
20:18 - and because we're it's knight in shining armor....it wants to marry us.
20:42 - And back to the present with the giant tree back and alive.....now packed with a full dosage of memory loss. After that it's lots of talking about what we need to do and where to go next, we even get a new item : The Seed Satchel filled with stuff Beavis would spam.
23:09 - Vasu, the jeweler. Throughout your adventure you'll find random rings, bring them to Vasu who will appraise them and tell you the ring's ability. Some grant you power, some defense, some transform you, etc. They aren't needed to complete the game but they're good to have.
24:49 - Yoll Graveyard
25:49 - Graveyard Key, just light the torches as shown with the Ember Seeds and you're good.
26:38 - Level 1 : Spirit's Grave
And that's about it, feel free to ask about anything else in the comments and remember, playing one of the oracle games, beating it, and then linking the other game via password does make plenty of things change, so you're in for a treat either way, plus the worlds in both games are plenty big, so have fun.
The Crown Dungeon's music is still bad, and with that I'm off to wash stuff.
