So, i attempted to work on a gamejam few months ago, based on a nightmare i had almost a year ago, without using doom at all, as the gamejam requested to use a custom engine from itch io (easy fps editor lite)

For some reason, the game compiler started failing mid-development and didn't found a way to fix the issue in time, plus i was quite busy with hellslinger, so I silently cancelled the project.

The whole idea was like, something cute ala animal crossing, where you chop trees to get wood, to build a bridge, to get to the exit, but you eventually run out of trees, so you start farming npc's instead and start using their bodyparts to build such bridge.

I focused mostly on the nightmare design, i cancelled the project before I started working on the cute-like design, so the whole footage shows what basically would had been the final third parts of the concept.

My computer can't record footage from this game for some reason, so i plugged the notebook into a tv and recorded the footage with my cellphone. Ye, it's unprofessional, but i feel like it adds a cool creepypasta factor to it.

So, ye. cancelled gamejam. Idk if i'll make an actual version of it for doom eventually. Currently i'm just too busy with other stuff to even try to do that.
