You can be in aviation, have a great pilot job, and not have to be away from home for days on end. There are many different jobs with different schedules than you can pick from to fit your lifestyle and family situation.

Up to this point I’ve had 4 different types of flying jobs with 4 different schedules and they suit all different lifestyles. So let’s take a look at them and see which one would be best for you.

The 4 different pilot jobs and different flying schedules we will talk about are:
your schedule as a flight instructor
your schedule as a part 91K or part 135 pilot
your schedule as a regional airline first officer
your schedule as a cargo pilot working for an ACMI company
