62Profile Tubing, Extrusion Tubing, 80 20 , Slot and Groove...... The Stuff Goes by so many names. Aluminum Extrusion Sim Racing Chassis have become the rage of Sim Racing. And for good reason. They are indestructible and highly adjustable.
Just about every sim rig company makes an aluminum chassis at this point, but the design really started with the basic. 1" 80 / 20 Profile. No fancy laser cut aluminum adapters, just a big boy erector set.
After many years of DIY rig building Shaun Cole of The SImpit is back with his latest basic 8020 build. The build took about 4 hours to complete but this video shows off the work in under one minute.
