0:00 Boss Mechanics explained

What to watch out for?

1. Boss has a lot of buff that increases Defense, and per buff, Boss get more dmg reduction and dmg dealt.

Strategy: It's important to dispel the buffs for an easier and faster clear.

2. Boss gain [Bedrock] buff (undispellable) when attacked by non-stronger afflatus.

Strategy: Use mineral units, if you want to use other non Mineral, make sure they don't Atk the enemy. Either stand there to just provide buffs.

3. Boss summon Phantoms every round and below 50% HP, the Phantom that Boss summon will be in Frenzied mode and does an Ultimate when they enter. The phantom will lose HP when our ally reduces their own HP when attacking (Semmelweis/Eternity) and upon death, Boss will receive 70k dmg. The phantom also mimic whatever the Boss does, if there are 3 phantoms on the field, if boss Ult, all of them will Ult.

Strategy: Kill the phantom's with AOE attack as they can quickly fill up the field. Pickles buffing our main DPS is also really important to ensure we have sufficient dmg to kill the Phantoms.

4. Boss counter with Riposte when attacked by a 1-target attack.

Strategy: Semmelweis as DPS mainly deal damage through her mass Atk FUA which can directly Atk the Boss and also kill the Phantoms. If you don't have her, Jiu Niang Zi can work but do not directly attack the Boss, kill the Phantom quickly to damage the Boss.


Recommendation:
Myth Manifest: Ashen Beast, while using Ashen Beast charges to boost FUA dmg (both Semmelweis and Jiu rely on this) do consider to charge it to max and use it all when Boss is about to Ult. This will grant party more defense to tank the Ult.

Character Recommendation

Semmelweis is the best for this at the moment until Recoleta is released. To make Semmelweis do more damage, Atk using Eternity as Eternity deplete everyone's HP.

Pickles give tremendous dmg boost to Mineral attacker's and he also cleanse the enemy. Definitely a core team for this stage.

Fatutu is a good sustain however do not let the shell stack on the Boss, as she will kept doing 1-target FUA and trigger Boss's Riposte. If there are 3 Phantoms, then all 3 will also Atk us, when Boss does Riposte.

Jiu Niang Zi mostly does 1-target but she can hit really hard with Ashen Beast and Pickles, allowing her to quickly kill the Phantoms and damage the boss as well.

Babel is also a very good sustain, imo better than Fatutu for this stage specifically. Use her shield when Boss is about to Ult for extra defense.

P0 Semmelweis, P1 Eternity, P2 Pickles, P0 Fatutu, Ashen Beast (Right-Most two nodes)

   • Mineral Team - Abyssal 400m-2 - Rever...  

Make sure to keep Semmelweis Array active, not only for damage but damage reduction as well. Your second priority is to maintain Pickles Ult, he just needs to use one Atk, every 3 rounds to get his Ult. Then distribute shells with Fatutu, Atk from the party will trigger healing. Any extra AP goes to Eternity.


9:05 Team 2: Jiu

P3 Jiu, P1 Eternity, P2 Pickles, P0 Babel.

Kept attacking the Phantom, maintains Pickles's Ult and shield up. Can take a while but not that difficult to execute.
