I found this Total Conversion mod for Doom 2 which takes a lot of inspiration from the warhammer 40k universe. . So what we have is a mod which looks like 40k and WW1 had a baby to give us a siege of vraks type vibe with a lot of trench warfare. It's super immersive and totally worth a go.
