This is a very taxing scene for most video encoders and online video hosting platforms. All YouTube quality modes, except 4k, struggle to keep the quality up during the moments of high frequency fluctuations in the video. It's a pretty good demonstration of how well the 4k video mode handles it, and it shows the upper limits of the quality you can achieve on this platform as of 2018. The original uploaded file was compressed in x264 lossless (4:2:0 chroma sub-sampled), and it was 6.4 GB in size.

Video was captured using "Reverse Low Pass Filter" on the OSSC. Captured in lossless RGB at 256x224 and upscaled. No denoising or other post-processing done (other than simple scaling and colorspace conversion). At the time of capture, the SNES had all of its aluminum electrolyte capacitors and voltage regulator replaced. A few of the ceramic bypass capacitors were upgraded to reduce jailbars.
