Hello Capybaras. It has been exactly 1 year since I did my most insane demo ever, capybara map 32. This demo was also mentioned in the 2023 Cacowards which is awesome. In order to celebrate I decided to post a 4K version of the demo since the live reaction one was pretty low quality. Nefarious is the hardest difficulty in the wad. Try to send me to hell and it will freezzzzz. Welcome Capybaras, to the last episode of Capybara and this is the last map we must finish and this is by far the hardest map. This one took me 2,335 attempts and for a good reason, every parkour section on the map is insta death if you fall down. The third parkour section is the hardest because even if you do everything right you have a chance to be pushed back due to elliptical collision, and since it is near the end it is one of the most intense parts of the run. All three fights in the map are hard and they all have a high potential of death. For the first fight I mainly just try to live and kill some enemies while the cyberdemon infights, lots of deaths here overall. The second fight I mainly just circle around and try to save the megasphere until I need it, killing archviles at every convenience. It is important to save some health after the first fight and second fight because you need some hp after the second fight to take some floor damage to take the elevators. The final fight gave me a lot of trouble and the final fight has two phases. The first phase is the pinky and revenant section, at first I would bfg all the enemies and use the beginning area as a safe spot for a while. However, I found the strat not working alot and I used a strat brendondle told me and that was to push right away and kill the enemies as they spawned in by rushing to the top. The second phase of the final fight is the 108 green cyber part and this one kept destroying me also, I ended up spending more time killing them on the start as the spawned in which was more risky but it made it much easier to keep up with killing the rest with the evil eye turret. By the way the evil eye turret at the end will insta kill you. After the final phase of final fight there are 4 parkour jumps that are very scary to do at the end. There are 4 parkour sections in total on this map and they all insta kill if miss. The first area is not the bad because it is right at the start of the run. The second parkour area gave me a lot of trouble at first but then I got the hang of it, and the cyber parkour I cheesed by killing the cyber. The third parkour section is by far the hardest and scariest(due to elliptical collision), after passing this part in a run it is insanely hard to stay calm which is why I did not move for a second after beating it, trying to take a quick breather. I am insanely happy I finished this run and the wad as it was such a crazy one with many awesome maps that really differ from normal doom wads. I had to use 4:3 aspect ratio in this demo to line up sr50's, since lining them up on 4:3 makes it so you move directly at the end of your screen while doing sr50. I also hit the potato pc button since it made the stream lag and my game lag a bit (otherwise you could see the entire map from every point in parkour). Thanks for all the people who were watching the stream and chatting as it made grinding this absolute beast of a map more enjoyable.
