Recentelijk heb ik in Duitsland een chromatische harp gebouwd bij Klangwerkstatt: https://www.klangwerkstatt.de/kurse
Bij een chromatische harp heb je gekruiste snaren, met zowel de hele als halve tonen, waardoor je alle noten makkelijk kan spelen zonder haakjes of pedalen te hoeven verzetten. Dit is een 6/6 chromatische harp, dus 6 snaren aan elke kant (er zijn ook 5/7 chromatische harpen, met snaren gestemd zoals de zwarte en witte toetsen van een piano).

Recently, I went to Germany to build a chromatic harp at a workshop organized by Klangwerkstatt: https://www.klangwerkstatt.de/kurse
A chromatic harp has crossed strings, so you have both whole and half tones available without having to change levers or pedals. This is a 6/6 chromatic harp, with 6 strings on each side. There are also 5/7 chromatic harps, with 5 strings on one side and 7 on the other side, tuned like the black and white keys of a piano.
