4SG Quake Live Basic Strafe Jumping tutorial
A fairly basic Quake Live Strafe Jumping tutorial. A follow on from my circle jumping tutorial.
Good to learn from, have split up strafe jumping into 4 parts, so you can understand what you're supposed to be doing. In my experience, people make a mistake in one of these parts.
There are only two main aspects of strafe jumping, the timing of the switch and the angle, and new people, in my experience, just need to master these two aspects.
So follow these 4 steps, and it should simplify the process of learning Strafe Jumping. I've been teaching strafe jumping for a few years now, so I guess I have a fair amount of experience on this subject. I don't claim to be the best strafe jumper or anything (though my movement is probably a fair bit above average, in my opinion), but I have taught a lot of new people, and know the mistakes new people generally make.
