So you think you know fighting games? Well what if I were to show you 5 fighting games most people don't even know or talk about. Maybe there maybe 1 or 2 on the list you heard of but lets see if you know all these. This is my 5 2D Fighting Games You Never Played (Probably). This list is in no particular order so no need to write angry comments about why your favorite isn't number one because we are all winners and winners don't do drugs. Yay 90s propaganda!

Here is a list of the games you can expect to see on this list in no particular order. The Last Blade 2 one of the best of the SNK games in my opinion. Mixes my favorite era in Japan which happens to be when my favorite anime Rurouni Kenshin takes place. But The Last Blade 2 has great combat and just an over all blast to play. You can get this now for Sony PS3, PS4, and Vita.

A lesser known gem for sure is Rabbit on the Sega Saturn it is an import only game published by EA. Yes Electronic Arts published an anime fighting game called Rabbit. While having nothing to do with Road Rash or Mass Effect, each player has a persona like entity which the player can summon and in arcade mode when you beat someone you acquire the at person's entity. Rabbit lots of fun even if there is no alien sex.

Gundam Wing Endless Duel is based on the Gundam Wing anime of the same name and its the best Super Famicom/Super Nintendo fighting game period. Plays and shares a lot in common with modern fighting games. If you love the Gundam series then give Gundam Wing Endless Duel a chance.

Sengoku Basara X (Cross) is a fighting game series based on a Capcom Dynasty Warriors clone of Sengoku Basara. Made with the help of rival company Arc System Works this medieval Japanese world comes to life. Fast and a fun action system makes this worth importing for your Playstation 2. One of my favorite PS2 fighters in my opinion.

Last but not least is Chaos Code. While a newer game it is highly overlooked and mainly due to the fact it is a Playstation 3 game without an online multiplayer. Thats what most likely kept people from taking a look at it however if you want a fun couch co-op fighting game then Chaos Code might be the cure for what that itch. Also has a suplexing chief, what more could you ask for.
