5. Link's Crossbow Training - Score Attack - Level 5 (Platinum Medal)
I know the Oocca are terrifying creatures, but you've got to keep a steady hand, here!

The Oocca randomize their depths and speeds so no two runs are the same. THAT said, as usual, if you are faster you'll generally "spawn" more to shoot before a scene change! Speaking of which, the targets dropped by the bird-things net you 300 (before multiplier points if shot! 700ish for a gold one! It's a good idea to let them fall when the timer runs out, especially since they're so slow at reacting to gravity.
Next two sections aren't my greatest showing. The desert shootout is stupidly simple. The worms will only pop out if you look at them and the Leevers go in a super predictable pattern. I messed up quite a bit on the Bulblin shoot out, but you can see how it should be done! I also didn't realize until this go that they EXPLODE AND DO DAMAGE when they fall and die! Yikes!

This game is essentially a shooting gallery using backdrops from Twilight Princess serving as a vehicle to sell the Wii Zapper! I don't have a Wii Zapper. Apparently it came bundled with this, but I bought it used as a disc only, sooo~
Anyhoo, the Zapper is literally a "hunk of plastic" but it's one of the less stupider variations thereof - as far as I hear! It feels fun to hold it like, well, a crossbow! Or a submachine gun! Or whatever. But it does require more torque to turn the Wii remote to aim, whereas I'm just resting my arm on the chair and slightly turning my wrist.
Aim of the game is generally to hit targets or enemies! Hitting targets in the middle awards more points! Most enemies don't matter where they are hit. The most important thing to remember, though, is the consecutive shot multiplier! Every target you hit without a miss increases your multiplier by one! This will award INSANE points if you keep it up! (30x1, 30x2, 30x3, etc.) You can also shoot things in the background for points but they don't get multipliers added to their scores. If you hit background elements you won't lose the multiplier either, but a miss and yeah... Generally you want to focus on the targets.
AND SCARECROWS. Shoot the body of a scarecrow a bunch and the head balloons up until a maximum bonus is awarded for bursting it! Then, they can appear later in the level where you repeat the process and take an alternate higher scoring route with more gold targets! Rupees may pop outta background thingies too and you get a bigger bonus the sooner you shoot it. Fairies will award you a lot, too. DONT SHOOT CHICKENS. Or other living creatures, you'll lose points. And if you shoot all the targets down you get a triforce bonus!
My goal here is to get a platinum medal for every level! Generally keeping a cool head and focusing on the consecutive multiplier is how this is won! See you out on the range!
