Many consoles are called the king of RPGs, including the Sony PlayStation and Super Nintendo, but I think a system that doesn’t get enough credit for its vast amount of quality and experimental RPGs is the Sony PlayStation Portable! The PSP had a surprising number of RPGs that pushed boundaries, revived classic series, and introduced brand-new ideas. It’s also where the West finally got to experience a number of titles that had long been stuck in Japan. These RPGs aren’t quite hidden gems as they include some of the most memorable and popular RPGs ever released on the PSP. All the RPGs I’ll be covering here were released in the US, and we’ll save the Japan-only titles for another video down the line. Enjoy!
