Reasons
1. Scalable so the more FP you spend per day, the more FP you make by leveling it.
2. Makes common leveling threads (1.9, for example) profitable
3. Increases profitable snipe range. @level 80, you can't make profit on a GB that's primed for 1.92. at 1.95, you're making 3%. So it's easier to spend huge amount of FP because there are so many more targets
4. Faster break even than the majority of FP/day buildings, so it dramatically increases your fp/sq effeicncy in your city (leaves more room for other things like attack buildings).
5. Reduce the cost of leveling your own GB's because you'll be able to find partners/groups that will contribute more than 1.9. (note: that means you won't make profit on their GB's though, so you can't count that in toward how much you spend per day)

Bonus reason: Vanity. I mean, how awesome it is to have a 2x multiplier for arc?
