Episode 5.1: Automation . Sensors
Purpose:
For Module 5, we will dive into the complex and beautiful world of Automation in Oxygen Not Included. Like with other modules, we will start off simple and build upon each concept, as well as look into simple ways to use automation. This will not cover super complex, mind breaking automation.
This particular episode, being 5.1, will begin where we sort of left off in the previous Automation module. We will tackle some very beginner-friendly sensors and how you can use them to look for things, as well as impact other buildings like a Liquid Pump. Additionally, we will go over NOT Gates and AND Gates.
The main sensors we will cover in Episode 5.1 will include:
Liquid Pipe Element Sensor
Liquid Pipe Thermo Sensor
Gas Pipe Element Sensor
Gas Pipe Thermo Sensor
As I said in the previous episode, if you have used Redstone from Minecraft, Automation will likely be very familiar to you.
