Episode 5.0: Automation . The Basics
Purpose:
For Module 5, we will dive into the complex and beautiful world of Automation in Oxygen Not Included. Like with other modules, we will start off simple and build upon each concept, as well as look into simple ways to use automation. This will not cover super complex, mind breaking automation.
This particular episode, being 5.0, will start off with the automation wire, automation bridge, and a few simple sensors. We will look into how it can impact a door, for instance, by being either "on" or "off". If you are used to Redstone from Minecraft, then this may be very familiar to you. We will also look over a small example of a way I use Automation with water management. This module will try and stay practical with the designs of automation and I will also show in later modules my colony using automation.
