An attack of this nature, sort of like the base assault from earlier, is really a marathon, not the comparative sprint of a regular deployment or mission. We've taken fire several times now, and sustained a lot of damage on our team despite the best skills and armor available and only half-terrible commanding from the rear, but a pair of extremely competent medics, wielding upgraded medpacks, has been crucial for keeping the team healthy and nearly topped-off on their HP totals.

Even a somewhat generous use of our supplies, as long as we keep an eye towards making it last the entire mission, allows us to employ ghost armor charges, medpacks, and other consumable equipment like explosives in an intelligent fashion, which is really the thing I want to emphasize here. At first I wasn't too sure about the Support class in general but look at some of their skills; they can summon 20 to 40 defense literally out of the thin air with smoke grenades, they can triple the value of medical supplies and even actually revive critical people back into the fighting, and they can do this while also carrying mind shields, just in case.

Because I'm pretty sure what the final test in this fucked up alien gauntlet is going to be.
