6 Degrees FX: R3 DISTORTION - DEMO

From Canada with love. Lots. Ken and his fellow Vancouverites pride themselves on top-shelf sound, construction, looks and jaw-dropping innards. If you have a pedal-guts fetish then 6 Degrees FX are the company for you. The added bonus of incredible sound is always a bonus too.
The R3 is a serious tip o' the hat to the classic RAT. The 6 Degrees FX version features three types of clipping - Germanium, Asymmetrical and Silicon. All have distinct and useful characteristics.
I especially like the R3 with single coil equipped guitars such as the Strat I've used in this video because it darkens up the top end and punches out the mids. That, my friends, is a very good thing when you kick in your R3 for some lead wailing - which I will be doing.
Bottom line: Looks, sound, racing stripes, superior workmanship inside and out = a good thing. The R3 is a very good thing.
