6 points in the last 6 rounds helps 17-year-old Anuj Shrivatri win Rs.1,50,000 at Gujarat GM 2022
IM Anuj Shrivatri had a winning position in the 4th round of the Gujarat GM International 2022 against Vrushali Deodhar (1974). But then he blundered and lost the game. At this point he was on 2.5/4. In the next six rounds Anuj won all of his six games to finish the tournament with 8.5/10. He managed to beat three strong players - GM Hesham Abdulrehman, IM CRG Krishna and IM Srihari LR. With this performance Anuj finished third, gained 18 Elo points and also got richer by Rs.1,50,000.
