[60 FPS Boost] Dungeon Defenders II \ Xbox Series X DD2 XSX Auto HDR Free TD Multiplayer Gameplay
Dungeon Defenders II (or DD2) is the first sequel to Dungeon Defenders, released on June 20, 2017. It's a Free to Play game on Steam.
DD2 takes place five (5) years after the events of DD1. Through that time, nearly all Eternia Crystals in Etheria were destroyed, re-releasing evil beings known as "the old ones" back into the heroes' homeworld.
The game plays significantly different from its predecessor. Though the main objective is the same, DD2 puts greater emphasis on the heroes over their towers/defenses in combat. A number of changes, additions and gameplay concepts DD2 brought were carried over into its sequel: Dungeon Defenders: Awakened.

Differences from DD1 General
Mana is split between two types: Build Mana and Skill/Ability Mana. Build Mana is used to summon and manage defenses. Enemies drop this type of mana on death. Ability Mana is exclusively used for hero abilities, including Heal-Self (or similar ability). It regenerates overtime when not in-use.
Gold replaces banked mana as the game's primary currency. Since DD2 is a Free-to-Play game, monetization is done via microtransactions, or in-app purchases, for the game's premium currencies and cosmetic items. The former can be obtained without paying real-world money though.
Heroes and Defenses
Heroes have an even 4 abilities and 4 defenses vs. 3 abilities (counting Heal-Self) and 5 towers. The Barbarian has 8 abilities, which use either his Fury or Wrath mana resource. The new Gun Witch, who is thematically similar to the Jester, also has 8 abilities and no persistent defenses.
Abyss Lord
A new hero similar to the Summoner. Has a large, continuous AOE attack His tome is a unique weapon type.
Gun Witch
A new hero somewhat similar to the Jester. Has 8 abilities and 0 defenses. Half of them are "Witchcraft Spells." Guns are the only weapon type she can equip.
Lavamancer
A new hero who possess volcanic-, fire- and earth- themed abilities and defenses.
Mystic
A new hero who depends on killing enemies to fuel herself and her defenses.
Dryad
A new hero from the Terraria game universe who can shift between Purity and Corrupt Forms which alters her abilities, attributes and defenses.
Series EV2
The 2.0 version of Series EV. Her abilities are powerful, but generate heat. If she overheats, EV2 is disarmed for several seconds.
Hero Deck
A new game mechanic that allows the player to level-up at most four (4) of their heroes simultaneously. During Build Phases, the player can quick-swap between heroes in the deck with a single button press. Heroes outside the deck are still accessible; the deck can be edited between waves.

Chests: Even though the game is still in Pre-Alpha at the moment, in game you get the mana and coins from chests too, but you are awarded with keys to open so to get the mana you don't just have to get close to the chest you have to open it. What really changes is that the mana will be split by each person on, i.e. if there are 4 players each player will get 2 keys and each chest will only provide half the mana of a normal chest in that map whereas if there are 2 players both have 4 keys giving half of the mana each chest would. The Map progression: Now the map progression has level min and max - a player can't jump into a higher level and higher levels who go into lower levels will have their stats balanced as if they were at that level. This was implemented to stop Power Leveling. To play a certain map all the heroes inside the Hero Deck must be in the level range of the so said map/maps.
