Oh boy, this 1.6 extreme demon is a choke-point unbalanced mess, and it gets significantly worse on 60hz. This was a long journey of 8 months of painstakingly boring garbage and my journey of this mountain of a demon outlasted my relationship.
I began playing ICDX the day I beat Night Terrors which was on the 25th of July 2023. Three days later on the 28th of July I fell in love with this girl I met at church and our relationship began immediately although I didn't ask her out until four weeks later. On the 30th of July I had ICDX in three runs (49%, 38-68, 67-100). Two days later I get 61% by dying to the stupid blind yellow orb which I ended up dying to A LOT.
12th of August I get the run of 55-100 which completes my goal of getting ICDX in two runs.
I reach 65% on the next day, then on the 19th I die at 68% which was my first time reaching the straight fly and I died to lag.

Then on the 2nd of September I reach the second last ship at 80% and I completely fluked the 68-72 straight fly because I had only died there once before, and this progress was monumental for me. This would be my last time reaching the 80% ship for FIVE MONTHS. For the next few months between September 2023 to January 2024 my progress and consistency with ICDX really stagnated even though I was still playing fairly regularly; meanwhile my relationship with my girlfriend was blooming like a flower, I had everything I ever wanted, and I was so blindly in love with her, I was in absolute ecstasy.

So, then I proceeded to get 38-100 on the 25th of January which was my first progress in many months since I got 82 in September. At this time of getting 38-100 I was in an awful mental state as the first problem arised in my relationship and I was heartbroken as I realised my girlfriend was losing her love for me and hardly talked to me anymore, this deeply troubled me, and I tried everything I could to amend things, but I only made things worse. Around this time, I died to 74% and 73% twice but lost both the 73% recordings, then finally got a new best on the 10th of February by reaching 83%, at this time my relationship was dying more and more, and I was hurting more and more.

I reached 83% again on the 25th, then a third time on the 28th the next day on the 29th of February our relationship was at an all-time low and my girlfriend felt nothing for me as I screwed up one last time by getting into another stupid argument with her that I started. She promptly stopped communication with me and was cold and distant towards me and I was feeling even worse this time, but I still had hope for us. The next day I got a new best by reaching 85% and I had 60k attempts by this point. My girlfriend broke up with me on the second week of March and I was devastated, then I reached 80% the next day.
The final run I had always wanted was 25-100 and I nearly reached that on the 25th of March by getting 25-96 and I knew that the end was near; and it was...
Then on the 1st of April I did it, 68k attempts and 8 months later ICE Carbon Diablo X was completed.

Also, I would say that ICDX is slightly easier on 2.2 than it was on 2.1.
