* Oh! I was wrong--can't even remember my newfangled bi-weekly-ish schedule. Next up is Marvel vs. Capcom 2, not Capcom vs. SNK Pro. : PPP
Battles can go fast when the combatants start at half health! But then can go long if nobody can quite get that 50% damage burst, and then their opponent gets some hits and sucks their health back and you basically have a reset in the round, except for the clock. I couldn't handle the times where I had the opponent on the ropes, then they got their hits and turned the tide--and I would get bummed out and just crumble. : P For longer rounds, Iron Fight--where you just have a ton of HP--is more my thing!
Funny though that since health is conserved perfectly--for every hit point someone loses, it's gained by their opponent--then for each round to end, with an opponent at 0% health, that means the other ends with 100% health, and a perfect ("Excellent").
And I don't know if I'd actually seen it before, but yeah turns out there are special curse items that can get stuck on you if you fulfill some secret losing streak in some stat, like say losing every round of a match by a perfect...
