Episode 4 of this challenge, where we keep on trading blows and nostalgia between 8 and 16-bit systems, together with @londonretrovideogames1473

Time stamps:
00:00 Jurassic Fark (Mega Drive)
11:36 Aztrec Challenge (Commodore 64)

Never played Jurassic Park on the Mega Drive before and I was struggling! It looks good, it really does. I have fond memories of (quite) similar games on the Amiga. But we didn't get along. Moving the character feel a tad sluggish, frame rate dropping when a lot of movement on the screen... This footage is from my first stab at it ever. If I'd played this at a younger age, I can see myself keep going and eventually maybe even liking it. So maybe I should give it another chance?

I shouldn't bash the childhood gaming memories of LondonRetroVideoGames because my 8-bit choice for him is Aztec Challenge (C64, 1983). A beautiful gem in my book! But also a bit buggy and with weird collisions, which probably will be annoying if trying it for the first time. I have played this game since childhood and with the nostalgia glasses on, everything about it is awesome! Even the bugs. =)
This time I play on real hardware. The sound is captured straight from my C64. Regarding the footage I took the easy route and just recorded with my phone.

What's all this about?
This is a challenge, by LondonRetroVideoGames, where we play his pick of a 16-bit game and in turn we suggest an 8-bit game for him. It's not about comparing versions, nor which is "the best" - I interpret this challenge as comparing childhood games and nostalgia, in a way "selling" our childhood favourites to eachother. What retro gaming is all about really, in my book.
