If you ask me, 8BitDo is the king of 3rd party Nintendo controllers. So much so that I prefer their reinterpretations of classic NES and SNES controllers over Nintendo's own!

With that in mind, I picked up their latest model, the N30. Designed specifically to work with the Switch's NES lineup (and NSMBU: Deluxe if we can make it happen).
